Calling all artists

Thanks to everyone for showing such great interest in the Altius Art Exhibition. Our plans are now beginning to fall into place but we still need to find more artists.

In order to extend the network of private equity practitioners involved in the exhibition, we would now like to ask anyone who has found the idea appealing to spread the word to their colleagues and associates. This would be hugely helpful in our attempts to fill Christie’s with private equity artwork and to make the event a success. As ever, the exhibition is about enthusiasm rather than artistic excellence – any entrants are welcome.

Digital copies of your work

Over the next few months we will be updating this site with samples of artwork we have received. We will also print a brochure of all the submitted work to be given to guests on the night. For both of these things we need jpeg files of the art itself.

To do this we need you to email us a jpeg of your picture, either photographed or scanned. Importantly, these images must be at a resolution of at least 300dpi to do themselves justice both on screen and in print. Whilst we will not able to post all submissions on the website, we still need your jpeg images for the production of the brochure.

We are aware that at this time you may not have produced the piece of work you wish to submit, however there is still plenty of time. To give us enough time to produce the brochure before the exhibition, the deadline for digital submissions will not be until the end of June.

On top of the digital image, we would also appreciate any other information you could give us with respect to the specific picture and yourself. This information is for inclusion in the brochure and for the description card that will be posted beside each artwork on the night. Details to include:

• Title and date of the artwork
• Description of its contents
• Any relevant information you’d like to give about yourself/your company
