Information for Contributing Artists
Calling all jpegs and artist info
19/07/2005
As the date of the exhibition draws ever closer, we would appreciate it if artists could send us the digital copies of the work they intend to submit as soon as possible. Files sent to us must be jpegs at a minimum resolution of 300dpi.
On top of the digital image, we also need you to send other information with respect to the specific picture and yourself. This should include:
- The title of the artwork
- When it was created
- A paragraph about you as the artist/photographer
- A paragraph about your inspiration for the piece
As many of you will be aware, we have been updating the Selected submissions page with samples of the work to be displayed in the exhibition. To do this, we obviously need your jpegs and blurbs, so please send them to us as soon as you can. Don’t forget that those jpegs that get to us sooner stand the greatest chance of being displayed on the website.
Please be aware that the deadline for receipt of the above files and information is the end of July.
Transportation of artwork to Altius Associates
Prior to the event itself, Altius will need to gather all submitted work at our offices. As our list of contributors includes artists from around the world, this will be no mean feat. The ideal scenario is for artists to courier their work directly to Altius, but we understand we have to be flexible to the demands of those outside this country. At this stage our best advice is to contact us with any queries.
Please note that the deadline for the receipt of the original artworks is Wednesday 17th August 2005.
Please send or bring all original artworks to:
