Thank you once again to all those who have agreed to donate pieces to the Altius Art Exhibition.
We seem to have tapped into some kind of latent pool of creativity within the private equity industry with interest coming from right across the board. We truly can boast a global list of artists with contributions from artists in Australia & Israel and across Europe and the US.
We’ve also received a lot of interest from the private equity press with articles and mentions in Private Equity International, Real Deals, Investment Adviser, Pensions & Investments, Unquote and the Wall Street Journal.
The exhibition is already shaping up to be very interesting, displaying pieces from a variety of disciplines - from jewellery design through photography, oils, watercolour painting and pastels to sculpture.
We also have a wide range of abilities represented, from the professional artist to those who simply enjoy photography and painting in their spare time and even to those who have decided to produce a piece for the exhibition for the first time. We understand that we can fully expect the quality of the work submitted to be extremely varied, and this is something we welcome as it promotes exactly the kind of open interest the event embodies.

Are you an artist who has not yet submitted their details?
We are still happy to accept new artists into the exhibition. There is still time if you would like to get involved, particularly as we do not necessarily want artists to create artworks specifically for this exhibition – older pieces will be as gladly received as new ones. Perhaps you are an artist who already has a portfolio of work from which you could select an artwork you might like to donate to the exhibition?
The deadline for the receipt of digital copies of donated artworks is not until the end of July. We have imposed this deadline to give us enough time to produce the brochure of artworks for the night.
