Victoria of Strathearn

A weekend for 6 during summer 2006 in the Mediterranean aboard the 130’ luxury sailing yacht, Victoria of Strathearn.
Victoria of Strathearn website

Victoria of Strathearn is a 40m (130 ft) ketch, beautifully designed by naval architects Langan Design Associates and expertly built in 2001 by Alloy Yachts. With accolades such as the ShowBoats International 2001 award winner for the ‘Best Sailing Yacht Over 38m’ and the International Superyacht Society Design Awards winner for 2001 for ‘Best Sail over 36m and Best Sailboat Interior’, your stay aboard this beautiful yacht is sure to be a memorable one.

Victoria of Strathearn is a modern classic ketch which offers a modern sailing performance married with traditional style and grace. Her massive sailing rigg, with carbon fibre main (48m tall) and mizzen masts and in boom furling comes from the famous Marten Spars from New Zealand. She has been lavishly fitted out with varnished teak which has been used generously on many areas such as on the cap rail, inner bulwarks, pilot house, crew scuttle, winch plinth and cockpit coaming – to name a few. She proudly displays stainless steel dorades and a large skylight which provides sufficient light to the saloon below.

The classic styling and craftsmanship continues throughout the yacht’s lavish interior, which, designed by Andrew Winch Designs, features lovely walnut woodwork in her paneling and furniture.

Victoria of Strathearn has a permanent crew of five, who will be on-hand during your weekend to cater for your every need. Lavish meals and all drinks will be provided for you whilst you tour hidden coves and some of the most beautiful harbours in the Mediterranean. Imagine sailing into any harbour aboard a vessel such as this and you have some idea what this weekend holds in store for you.
